We believe that it is important that your password is memorable so that you do not need to write it down. Therefore the only rule we enforce is that the password must be at least 6 characters long. For enhanced security we recommend you create a password of 8 characters or more, including at least 1 number and 1 alpha-numeric character or alternatively use a memorable term of 10 characters or more.
